Kassia has been fortunate to work with extraordinary organizations on the frontlines of our world’s most pressing social and environmental crises. From leading researchers in gun violence prevention, to local municipalities at the forefront of climate action, any impact Kassia has been able to have has in large part been due to the trust she’s earned as a creative partner and director. Through her work at One K, Kassia continues to lead teams to craft and maintain purpose-driven brands.
Producing impact
Not one to be constrained by mediums, nothing brings Kassia more joy than an open ended question. How do we get more people to appreciate the pervasiveness of invisible gender barriers? How do we help our community notice concerning behavior and take action to prevent violence? Kassia adores being invited into the conversation to identify how creativity can activate an audience. She will assemble the team, identify funding, and strategize for impact to do justice to the story.
Telling stories
While the majority of her career has been spent working inside or alongside purpose driven brands, Kassia is actively pursuing opportunities to wield her own words more directly for environmental action. From regular contributions to purpose-driven platforms, to working on her own children’s series, Kassia invites any opportunity to leverage her adoration of the written word for betterment of this one and only planet we call home.

Founded by Kassia in 2012, One K is a boutique, women-led studio working at the intersection of creative production and high stakes storytelling. Our team works across design, film, and photography to support those brands on the frontlines of social and environmental movements. With deep roots in public health, nonprofit communication, and design strategy, we’re humans with heaps of hope and we think good stories might just make all the difference.
